Botannical Tea Folio Card . . . . MY FAVORITE!!

Oh my . . . this is absolutely my “new favorite” project with Graphic 45! I have to give a shout out to my favorite blogger, Kathy Clements, for this idea. (“Kathy by Design”) The base of this “folio” is a 5″ x 7″ card with an extra 1/2 inch added at the top, to make room inside for all kinds of wonderful goodies.  This one flips open vertically; probably the next one I do (am thinking about the new Graphic 45 “Floral Shoppe”!!) will open horizontally.

This folio is set up as a little tea gift . . because it’s “Botannical Tea”! Your kit will include a honey stick and three Stash tea bags and you can see in some of the photos where I’ve placed those. I also have a couple other ideas for using this “template” as it surely doesn’t have to be used for tea!

Also included, as always in my workshops . .. pre-cut papers, embellishments, diecuts, silk ribbons, and fussy cuts. I’ll show you how to make a lovely cabbage rose, too . . . .for the cover of your folio! Your kit will come in a box, which then can also be used to mail this beautiful card/gift to someone special.

I am positively enamored with these folios now . . . and wishing I had a week off work to make about 25 of them!! Hope you can join me at It’s All About the Scrapbook in Dixon on Saturday, April 28th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. to make this lovely little masterpiece!! Bring your basic tool kit, lots of your favorite wet glue to adhere paper to paper, your cutter and ruler, and we will have SOOOO much fun!! Class fee is $45.00 and class is limited to 11 crafters.
