This world can get to be a VERY crazy place . .. sometimes it’s hard to remember that all we really need to do is “believe”!! I got this lovely stamp with that sentiment, last year, but hadn’t used it yet. I also found some sparkly blue glitter embossing powder in my stash . . .put them together and here’s a lovely card! I made 2 different versions . . . experimenting with some dies to accent the stamp . . . which do you like best? Happy Stamping!!
A sweet friend got engaged . . . and I happen to know she loves navy blue . . . and vintage . . . and the “stuff” I create . .. so I made her this mini album as an engagement gift. Had SUCH a good time making it . .. altho’ I found out it’s tough to find cool, vintage-y navy papers!! Hobby Lobby came through for me, as well as digging around in my stash of paper in my craft room (approx. 5 ft. tall if I’d stack them all up!! LOL!!) Found more vintage lace in the stash . . . and don’t you LOVE that gorgeous die on the front???? That’s from Creative Expressions.
And . . . mini albums are my new favorite “to do” item! Expect to see a lot of them here on the ole’ blog, in the near future! Happy Craftin’ to all!
Happy Monday! What a wonderful weekend I had . . . we had “monsoon season” here in Northern CA so I had 48 hours of not leaving the house, most of it spent in my crafting room! I had actually made this pink Valentine last week, for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge, but didn’t get it posted in time on Friday . . .but I do like it, so wanted to show it to you! I got some gorgeous new Prima papers a couple of weeks ago, so have been playing with those . . . you’ll be seeing more of them in the very near future. They’re aren’t “Valentine specific” but would make beautiful Valentines!
Ahhhh . . . such a SUPER several days at home, to craft and create! Of course, my long list of “clean out the hall closet” type jobs haven’t been touched . . .but I sure have been havin’ FUN!!
My friend Jill has been my inspiration for banners! (Check out her gorgeous Valentine banner on her Facebook page!) I really do like banners, but my question is always then “what do I do with it?” . . . but I’ll figure that out later, because I’m goin’ “banner crazy”!! They really are quite addicting. Here’s my Valentine banner (well, one of them . . . I may make some more!!) . . . created with Graphic 45’s “Time to Flourish” papers for February. LOVE IT!! Tried to stay true to my “vintage style” and used lots of cute embellishments . . . If anyone wants to buy one, I think I’ll sell them for $15.00 . . and would be happy to create a “custom” one for you! Happy Stampin’ in 2017!
Graphic 45 at its finest! Look at the luscious colors in this new line of paper, aptly called “Nature’s Sketchbook”!! A very “botanical” feel, but with deep, passionate colors of nature.
We’ll be making a Graphic 45 “Butterfly Square Tag” mini album. The album already comes with the butterfly pattern on it. We will be adding “Nature’s Sketchbook” papers and embellishments . . . lots of fussy cut butterflies from the paper, yummy May Arts silk ribbon, and bling. The album also comes with 5 kraft colored square tags to decorate and place in the pocket pages of the album. (there are also many “plain” pages to decorate). I’ve also added a few “flip pages”, so you can put even more photos and journaling in this album. Perfect to record a special event, a wonderful trip, a year in review . . . for yourself, or a special gift! Please join us for an afternoon of crafting inspiration!

Christmas season . . . that means there’s another seasonal blog hop happening at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers! You gotta’ check this out . . . sooooo many wonderful holiday themed “coffee cards”!!
This is the first one I made . . .some Graphic 45 papers and a Santa cut from Cavalini papers . .. Love it! What’s really funny is I looked back (after I had made it) and I made one almost like this one, for last year’s Coffee Loving Christmas! . . . guess I really do like it! (probably ‘cuz the cup looks like a Starbucks cup!)
Enjoy . . .I’m off to grab another cup myself, and head for my stampin’ desk, since it’s a perfect cold, dreary, rainy day! . .. I’ll have at least one more card for the Coffee Lovers this week, so stay tuned!
The Paper Players have a wonderful color challenge this week: use gold, silver and white with a Christmas theme. Right up my alley!! I used a poinsettia stamp and die from Heartfelt Creations, embossed in white with gold flecks. Gold and silver foil papers, leaf die, and ribbons are from Stampin’ Up, as is the greeting. I love the “simplicity with bling” of this card . . . might have to make some more of them!
Check out thepaperplayers.blogspot.com and enjoy all the beautiful cards this week!
Ahh . . . .the “shabbier the better”, right? I had so much fun creating this special shabby Christmas gift sack, for a very special person. It’s got lots of fun goodies in it, but my favorite part is the SACK!!
I dug into my stash of vintage laces for this, as well as using some other ribbons and laces I have. The tag is sort of a work of art, in itself . . .tags are really fun to “gussy up” too! And I used my favorite palette . . .vanilla! (cream? off-white? natural? . .. whatever you like to call it!) A touch of color with some Petalloo flowers, and some vintage style Christmas paper.
Hope you’re having fun getting creative with YOUR Christmas gift packaging! And if you’re looking for some inspiration . . .. you’re welcome!! Happy Creating!
I made this card at the same time as I made yesterday’s . . . had another vintage print, and was still playing with my new circle snowflake stamp! I like this one too . .. a bit more “subdued” than yesterday’s . . . but still shows off the circle snowflake stamp when it’s gold embossed! Hope you’re all havin’ fun creating for the holidays!
Another challenge card! This time for The Paper Players (www.thepaperplayers.blogspot.com)
Their challenge this week was to use snowflakes! I’m sitting here warm and toasty (Northern CA) with no snowflakes outside, but lots of rain! (MUCH needed!) But – I was excited to do this challenge, as I just got 2 new gorgeous snowflake stamps from Honeypot Crafts (in England). . . a circle and an oval, both with snowflakes attached to them! I had this vintage print in my stash (no idea where I got it!), so stamped the snowflake circle and gold embossed it onto this print . . .then mounted on my card, embellished with shabby laces and some gold foil diecut snowflakes. I LOVE this! This stamp may become next year’s Christmas cards!
Be sure to check out all the rest of the snowflake cards at The Paper Players!Bella Cosa Vintage
