2025 IS GONNA BE FUN!!

Happy Monday! I have a lot to show you today, along with a schedule of events for the first quarter of 2025! We’ll be doing a lot of fun paper crafting and hope you’ll join us! So . .. . let’s get into the details!

First up, my friend Theresa will be holding her very first workshop next Saturday, January 18th, in Grass Valley. Here are the details, followed by photos of the “winter beauty” cards we’ll be making.

Hi everyone, 

This is Theresa Stikes. My mentor, Janice, has elevated me to having a card class. We will be making 5 winter cards called “Frosty Snow” See attached pictures. I will be having a surprise card, also. The cost is $35.00. Cash or check. You will need to bring your basic tool kit. (adhesives, dimensionals, scissors, tweezers, etc.) Please R.S.V.P (530) 913-3100 if you would like to join us or order a kit.

All of these cards are from a beautiful paper line from Ciao Bella. I love the wintery beauty with so many lovely colors. The photos don’t give them justice, by any means! Theresa has only a couple of seats left for this workshop, so if you want to come, let her know NOW!!

Next is my schedule for the next couple of months. I will be doing workshops in both Auburn and Grass Valley.

“First Saturday” – Auburn – Saturday, February 1 – 10:00 – 1:00 – North Auburn (on Hwy. 49 – details to come) We’ll be making Valentines! Since everyone gives Valentines very differently, I’ll have several cards to choose from, and you can pick which cards you want to make, for the regular $5 per card. I’ll have masculine, feminine, and kids Valentine cards in various “styles” for you to choose from.

Saturday, February 22, 10:00 – 1:00 (this month only, the 4th Saturday, not the 3rd Saturday), Grass Valley, Hughes Rd. This is the first of a series of “Technique Classes” I’ll be offering in Grass Valley on 3rd Saturdays. These classes will focus more on learning various “techniques” rather than finishing 3-5 cards. You will always take home finished cards, but will learn how to do techniques yourself, “from scratch”. These classes will be $25.00. We’ll be doing techniques like folio cards, easel cards, etc. and the technique will be announced each month before the class. The February class will be “Using Borders on Cards”.

“First Saturday”, Auburn, Saturday, March 1, 10:00 – 1:00 – North Auburn We’ll be making Monochromatic Cards. I love monochromatic cards, and we’ll be making 3 of them, each having a different color scheme.

Now . . . I’ll show you a card I made a few days ago, when I had a little “just for fun” time. I had a package of really great paper from Stamperia called “Chocolate & Coffee”. Two of my very favorite things!! How could I NOT make some cards with this paper! Here’s my first one . . . and there will be more to come! SO much fun!
