FALL IS MY FAVE!!!!

Well, its really hard to say that Fall has arrived yet, as we’re almost 100 degrees here again today . . . . and I know its not officially Fall for awhile yet. BUT!! It’s Fall in my heart!!! I’ve been crafting nothing but Fall projects for a month now, and loving every minute. September and October are busy with Fall events, and I’m wholeheartedly IN to the season!

These are the three cards we’re making in my workshop this coming Saturday here in Auburn at Round Table Pizza. If any of you want some card making fun at the last minute, I do still have two spots open (or two kits available, if that’s your preference). Give me a call if you want to join us, and we’ll deal with the details!

This is a card I made “just for fun”. I was working on a similar card for our “Handmade Holidays” event in October, but wanted to use some lovely Anna Griffin paper for the background. This is one of her older patterns, which is making a limited comeback in some products right now. It’s called “Blythe” and I just LOVE it! Anna’s flowers and some Fall dies, along with my signature silk ribbon in chocolate brown, resulted in a card that really makes me smile!

My next five photos are the cards we’ll be making at my September 21st workshop in Grass Valley at Ben Franklin Crafts. These cards all feature this year’s Fall line of paper from Graphic 45 – a real favorite of mine and of my “regular” Grass Valley group of crafters. Lots of die cuts, embellishments, metal charms, silk ribbon, and anything else I can find to really create “wow!” cards for these workshops. Of course, it always starts with the papers, and this Fall Graphic 45 did not disappoint!! Would love to see you there if you’re local! We start at 10:00 a.m. and the workshop is $35.00. I also have kits available if these cards rock your boat, but you can’t attend. Just let me know really soon, as we’re getting full!

Can you handle all this rich, lush Fall gorgeousness??? I’m just awash in it all . . . and there’s even Bambi right there!!
