What a fun week I’ve had so far! Many of you follow Stampin’ Up and its products and catalogs. The new Spring “mini catalog” just came out, and several friends and I had a great time making cards with those new products last Saturday, at our friend Katrina’s, in Lincoln, CA.
I don’t know about you, but after some nasty cold spells, and all the tragic fires in our state, I’m really looking forward to Spring! I know it’s not here yet (and I still need to get some lettuce seeds planted in this cooler weather!) but many of us are anxiously awaiting the rejuvenation and renewal that Spring brings. And praying that those facing an almost impossible future in Southern California will find strength and hope. Our hearts are with them!
The three cards I’m showing you today are those we made at Katrina’s workshop. If you’re in the Sacramento area and looking for a monthly group to create and socialize, let me know . .. Katrina’s workshops . . . “Coffee and Cards” . . . are a lot of fun and I can let you know the details.

This card features a new line of papers called “Storybook Moments” featuring Peter Rabbit and lots of his friends! Isn’t this the cutest little bunny? Easter will be here before we know it, and these papers and dies and embellishments will give you a headstart on Easter cards! Plus, these adorable little creatures would make wonderful new baby cards, or cards for little kiddos!! (and isn’t that blue paper with the strawberries just beautiful!!??)

I’m not sure if this is a duck or a goose . . .but I think the card is hilarious! lf you’re looking for an “off the wall” Valentine, this would definitely work!

If you’re familiar with Stampin’ Up products, you’re probably familiar with their monthly kit club called “Paper Pumpkin”. This card is from the December Paper Pumpkin kit and I absolutely LOVE it! These kits come to you in the mail, all packaged up with everything you need to make several cards. ( Literally!! Everything from cards, precut dies and embellishments, to tape and foam dimensionals!)
This kit had 3 different cards, with supplies to make 3 of each card. All kits have envelopes, too, and often the envelopes are pre-printed or otherwise customized. (I’ll be showing you the other two cards in this kit in a few days.) Kits are becoming even more popular in the paper crafting world now, and these are really fun kits. Great to have on hand for those times when you need a card in the next 30 minutes! Holler if you’d like more information on them!
That’s it for today! I’ll be back on Monday with some samples of the Valentine cards we’ll be doing on Saturday, February 1, here in Auburn, California. Details to follow. Hope your days is full of sunshine and joy! Hugs! Janice
