More Fantastic Fall Creating

We finally have some lovely Fall weather here in the Sierra Foothills and it is LOVELY!! I’m still crazy busy with prepping for Fall craft events, but the windows are all open and the breeze is blowing! Its all good!

I’m sharing a couple of random cards with you today . . . . I took pictures of them and realized I hadn’t shown them to you yet! Enjoy!

My friend Jilli sent me this card! (jillibling.com) She makes the most wonderful cards! I think her forte is all the amazing attention to details that she puts in her creations. This zinnia die is from Stampin’ Up and I’ve now borrowed Susan’s dies, so I can go into “zinnia production” soon. . . . I love having a bunch of precut die cuts to just grab when making cards . . . and the color possibilities of zinnias are endless!

This is a card I’m working on for an October event I’m helping with. Its a flat card . .. the smaller greeting piece opens up for writing a message. . . just something a little different . .. sometimes when I’m working on so many different cards and events, it starts to look like everything is the same! So I’m challenged to come up with something different! This is an eclectic 5 X 7 card: kraft cardstock (from Hobby Lobby maybe???); black background and fall leaves papers from Graphic 45; gold matte foil from Anna Griffin; not sure where the leaf dies are from; greeting diecut layers from Stampin’ Up. Love coordinating everything together!

And last but not least, this is an unusual card . . . why? Because I made it “just for fun”!! One day when I was busy die cutting, paper cutting, etc. with all these gorgeous Fall papers, I thought . .. “I’m gonna take some of these pieces and make a card just for myself!! I’m hoping to send Thanksgiving cards instead of Christmas cards this year, so I can always use more Fall stuff! I do love purple and orange, so here it is!!

Thanks for looking! Hope you’re creating some cards “just for fun”, too! Remember – do something creative every day! Big hugs to all! Janice

  1. Nice and pretty cards. Purple and orange are my favorite, as you know. It was great spending time together last week. Need to do soon, again. I hope I get extra kits fron BF class on the 21st.
