More Valentines, Hearts, & Flowers!

I’ve been working on Valentines lately, as we needed to have a good supply of Valentine cards ready last weekend for the sale at Gypsy Chic Vintage Market in Lincoln.

These Valentines I’m showing you today are all made from more of Anna Griffin’s gorgeous floral papers with a black background. I absolutely love the beautiful pinks, whites, and reds of the flowers on black . . . so stunning!! These are all “slimline” cards . . . the size that fit in a #10 business envelope. Definitely not for “business” however . . .. all for pleasure!

This card started with a white vellum die cut layer. Then I added a pink die cut layer, with 3 more diecuts popped up with foam stickers to give the card a lot of depth. Many Anna Griffin fans ad tons and tons of flowers onto cards like this. I love the flowers, but most of the time I use them judiciously, as I often think “less is more”, and the simplicity becomes elegance!
This card uses the same basic layout as the previous one, only my large die cut layer was cut with matte gold cardstock. I love Anna Griffin’s matte cardstocks. They seem so much richer than “shiny” metallic cardstocks. I also added some die cut “swirls” to the top and bottom of this card.
And . . . one more card with the same large base die in pink, but a little different heart and greeting. They are both diecut in brushed metallic cardstock. It’s shimmer doesn’t really show up well in the photo, but in real life it is understated but soooo pretty!!

I have roughly a dozen of this style of card available for sale, if you need a very special Valentine for someone. Just let me know! These cards are $10 each which includes shipping! Happy paper crafting! Make something lovely today! Hugs! Janice
