When you’re a card maker, its all about the holidays, isn’t it? Seems like I’m always thinking, ” ok . . just got that holiday done, now which one comes next???” And since we just created for Easter, now it’s time for Mothers’ Day and then Fathers’ Day.
My next workshop here in Auburn (CA) features those two holidays. We’ll be making 4 cards again, two for each holiday, so that you you have some choices to meet your needs. As usual, for holidays, you’ll also have a choice of several different greetings, if you don’t need cards for these two holidays. This workshop will be held in the clubhouse here where I live, in Auburn, on the first Saturday of the month (always!) May 3, at 11:00. Class fee is still $15.00. Since this workshop is fast approaching, I need to know ASAP if you’ll be joining us! Please let me know. And if you can’t join us, but would like a kit, I need to know that, too! I had such a good time creating these cards . . .. at first I got a little stuck on masculine cards, as we often do, but once I got going both of these came together easily. On this last card, you’ll get a good choice of “outdoor themed” focal pictures, too . . . some really cool camping and hunting art!
Last week was my friend Susan’s class, which I always love, and below are the cards we made.
These cards are all Stampin’ Up cards, but all so different! And I love the all! I was thinking when I posted here, I’d tell you which was my favorite . . .. but I can’t decide!! What a happy “problem”!! LOL!
Last but not least, I’ve been working a lot on the cards and treats for my June 21 special event, “Floral Fantasy”. Its great to “be ahead” on all this work, because I know it will be here before you know it! I only have a couple of seats left, for this “2nd annual floral event”, so if you want to join us, you need to get your reservation in NOW!! I knew this would be a popular event, based on feedback from last year’s . . . but it almost filled really fast! This is a 5 “special” card event, with light lunch, treats, and prizes . . . and I know you’ll love it! Event fee is $45.00. No kits will be available for this one; but don’t miss it!!
