EASTER CARDS, MANLY CARDS, & FLORAL CARDS

I’ve got some variety for your viewing pleasure today and so glad you could join me!

FIRST: This is last call for making Easter cards this Saturday (April 5th) here in Auburn, CA. We’ll be getting together at 11:00 a.m. here in the clubhouse where I live. I have 2 “religious” Easter cards and 2 “bunny”
Easter cards for you to choose from, and if you’d like to make all 4, you’re welcome to. Workshop fee is $15.00 for 3 or 4 cards this month. Let me know if you can join us! If you’ve already done so, no need to contact me again. If you can’t attend but would like a kit, let me know. The cost is also $15 and I’ll arrange how to get the kit to you. This is one of the cards we’ll be making. You can look in my past posts for the others.

SECOND, here’s another card we’ll be making at my second annual “Floral Fantasy” event here in Auburn on June 21st, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. At this longer event we’ll be making 5 “fancier” cards featuring, of course, a variety of different flowers and lots of embellishments, in a variety of color schemes and formats. I’ll be serving a light finger food lunch, and the workshop fee is $45.00. I continuing to let you know about this workshop, even tho’ its a couple of months away, as it’s almost full!! Seating is limited, and I started getting reservations just from talking about it as several who loved last year’s event signed up right away. So, if you don’t want to miss out, let me know as soon as you can if you’ll be joining us!

And, THIRD – I had fun a few days ago making some “manly” cards, as I was almost out of them in my stash. I know we’ve all run into that situation, so I decided to take a pile of my Anna Griffin cardstock scraps from an old masculine card kit of hers, and use up some of those scraps! I had a great time, and best of all, I now have several of these cards ready in my stash when I need them!

As a lover of everything vintage, I like old cars, too! The focal point on the left card is from an old Graphic 45 line of paper. The black and white floral background is from retired Stampin’ Up paper. And the greeting is from an Anna Griffin kit. So, this card is definitely eclectic! The car on the right hand card is an old, old die I’ve had forever. Not even sure what company it came from! But very handy to have on hand for “guy cards”!! The die comes in 2 sizes, and I’m not even sure where these 2 background papers were from. And, it features another Anna Griffin greeting.

Here’s another Graphic 45 car image; an Anna Griffin silver matte foil diecut, and some old Anna Griffin paisley cardstock background that I just love! Another Anna greeting finishes it off.

One more card with that yummy Anna Griffin paisley background – and this one has a flat red Anna Griffin diecut, but uses the greeting as the focal point of the card (very easy to do with Anna’s great selection of shapes and sizes of greetings!)

That’s it for today . . . . thanks for stopping by and looking! And don’t forget reservations for workshops, if you’d like to create with us in person! Happy paper crafting! Janice
