PROJECTS, PLAYING, & PLANS

Hello papercrafting friends! I have lots more pictures to show you again today …..catching up on several things. Hoping you’ll get some inspiration from all these pretties . . . their creators outdid themselves!

The first group of photos is from my August workshop. We made Anna Griffin birthday cards, and were overwhelmed with flowers! I’m so glad I finally remembered to take pictures. Its always fun, when creators are just given the components to work with, how there are so many different and beautiful cards created! Here are a few for you to enjoy!

The crafters could also make a masculine Anna Griffin card if they wished, with supplies I brought . . . or they could choose one from my “stash”. The 2 cards above were in my stash. Anna cards are really much more fun if you’re crazy about flowers, and love using them on cards!

My next workshop coming up in September (first Saturday!) is on September 6th at 11:00 am here where I live. It will be here before you know it, so if you’re planning on coming, please reserve your spot as soon as you know. We’re doing “fun fold” cards this time. I have one past fun fold (my favorite!) and then I’ve got two new ones for you. Fun folds are so popular now, and its really amazing what some crafters can come up with for an unusual fold! (some a little too “crazy” for me!!)

I have one of our cards completed, but am still working on the other two. This is a new one I found online and I just love it!

Isn’t this pretty!!?? I believe the creator called it a “double easel plus”!! I made a couple of changes to the original, which I’ll explain when we’re together. The original was a little too “thick” for me. This turned out to be a bit of a challenge to make, but the final product is one I love! I hope you can join us to make this card, and two others on the 6th.

AND! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Saturday, October 18, for our Second Annual “Handmade Holidays” event. Susan, Katrina and I are working diligently on special projects we think you’ll love. Seating is limited, so we’re opening up registrations now. We know its early, but if you plan to come, we’d appreciate your registration. The cost for the day is $45 again this year. And to help a little with costs, none of the 3 of us will be holding our “regular” monthly workshops in October. You can pay with Paypal, Venmo, cash, or a check. Please don’t hesitate to call if you have questions. I’ll be posting about this event regularly, and I have pictures to show soon.

Thanks for hanging in ’til the end here today! Big hugs! Janice
