Wednesday Workshop News

Happy Wednesday, paper crafters! Today I have information about several workshops: one I attended, one I have coming up the first Saturday in May, and a reminder about a big event in June!

First, my May workshop here in Auburn, at the Clubhouse where I live. We’ll meet at 11:00 a.m. and be done between 1:00 and 2:00. I’ll have 4 cards for you to make: two Mothers Day cards and two Fathers Day cards, as I won’t be holding a “regular” workshop in June.

The top photo is one of the Fathers Day cards we’ll be making. And the one just above is all the focal images you can choose from for your card. I love this “masculine” outdoorsy paper! It’s from a company called Mintay, which I’ve been using more and more of lately. They have lovely florals, too, and I’m featuring those in many of my workshops.

This pretty pink and burgundy card is one of the two Mothers Day cards we’ll be making. This paper line is “Academia” and it, too, is from Mintay papers. Its a perfect fit for Stampin’ Up’s Cherry Cobbler cardstock, and their pale pink shimmery ribbon!

The other two cards you’ll be able to make aren’t quite done yet, but I guarantee you’ll love them! The masculine one feaatures a really cool vintage car, and the Mothers Day one is another lovely floral. Since the workshop is Saturday, May 3, its time to reserve your spot. Please let me know if you’ll be joining us or not, or if you can’t attend but want to purchase a kit.

And, I made these two cards Saturday at Katrina’s workshop! The one on the left is perfect for a book loving friend, as the tag peeking out of the pocket is a bookmark! The card on the right uses a new Stampin’ Up stamp set, and is Soooo cute! I love the little creatures living in the tree! I’m saving this card to give as a birthday card for one of my favorite “littles”!

And, last but not least, don’t forget my June 21 big event – “Floral Fantasy”! I only have 3 seats left, so if you want to attend, let me know asap! If you haven’t been following my blog posts here, look back at the last two, to see some of the cards we’ll be making at this event, and get more details about it.

Thanks for looking today – hope your day is full, fun, and you do something creative!! Hugs! Janice
