ON A VALENTINE MISSION

Today I’m showing you the rest of the Valentines that will be available for you to make at my workshop here in Auburn on next Saturday (Feb. 3) We’ll meet here where I live, and when you reserve your spot I’ll email you a copy of the map to my place. Very easy to find . . .. off Grass Valley Hwy. between Bell Rd. Dry Creek Rd.

But . .. I also want to talk a little about Valentines Day. I’m on a mission to encourage you to send some Valentine cards this year! I don’t think many of us send Valentines very much any more (I’m including myself!) But think about it! “Romantic” Valentines are lovely . . .but not too many people we can send them to. But a Valentine doesn’t have to be romantic! I can say “love” to a wide variety of friends and relatives, who would LOVE to get a handmade card ….. from YOU! . . .. letting them know that you love them! And our chaotic, crippled, crazy world could surely use more LOVE!!! There . . . I’ll step off the bandwagon . .. but think about it, ok? (This is actually part of my larger “resolution” to send more cards this year, ‘cuz I know how much people love getting them!)

So . . .here are the other 4 cards you can choose from. (I posted the first 4 in my previous post.) Remember this is “buffet style” . . . you pick which cards you want to make! (same regular price of $5 per card, but not just making the 3 cards I chose!)

Another masculine card . … and its truly eclectic! I’m not even sure where all the elements came from . … alll were found in my stash!

This is a vertical format Z fold card. What I really love is the gorgeous Anna Griffin floral paper!! SO pretty but really easy to make!

This card and embellishments are from Anna Griffin . . . except for the pretty bow, which is a lovely new ribbon from Stampin’ Up. You’ll have a choice of card bases for this card, but all are in the same colors.

And, last but not least, another card for a special “little” in your life! I think this little Valentine bear is SO adorable! I got him online at Polly’s Paper Studio, where she has lots of wonderful downloads you can print at home. And those of you who’ve been creating with Stampin’ Up for many years will recognize the pink ruffled ribbon I’ve been hoarding!

Hope you can join us Saturday! I have a little Valentine treat for each of you too!

Hugs! Janice
