SUMMER SPLENDOR BLOOMS

Have I got a treat for YOU!!! I instantly fell in love with Graphic 45’s new line of paper, “Flight of Fancy”. It not only has gorgeous colors, but there are amazing butterflies (one of my most favorites!) AND hummingbirds (my other most favorite) !!!

I just finished creating 5 beautiful cards for another of my traditional Graphic 45 card making classes. DETAILS: Saturday, June 15 at Ben Franklin Crafts in Grass Valley, CA, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Class fee is $35.00. Everything you need is precut, bows tied, with all the fussy cut embellishments. All you need to bring is your choice of adhesives.

I’ve gone all out on these cards! The paper is so gorgeous I felt a lot of pressure to do it justice with some truly amazing cards! I hope I’ve succeeded! Check out the cards, below, and I’m hoping to see you on the 15th…. join us for some great artistic card making and lots of “girl time” together! I’ll have the cold brew coffee all ready for you!

Here’s our first sweet hummingbird! I sure wish he’d visit the feeder just outside my dining room window! I love these little creatures . . . and I love this card, too! The turquoise cardstock is so bright, especially accented with the turquoise matte foil from Anna Griffin. And always, my favorite “signature” silk ribbon from May Arts!

This double Z-fold card features another one of the sweet hummingbirds on the “Flight of Fancy” paper. There are some pretty pink matte foil borders, several fussy cut florals, and of course, my “signature” silk ribbon from May Arts Co.

A lovely floral paper from this line just screams PINK! I accented this card with a new die from Anna Griffin, that uses her “cut and emboss” folders, to make the cutting and embossing ONE process rather than two. Easy peasy!! The green is matte foil cardstock, also from Anna!

This easel card was so much fun to make! I used Anna Griffin’s “Oval Easel” die, her metallic soft yellow cardstock for the “scroll work” layer, May Arts stunning two-tone silk ribbon, and some adorable little hot pink butterfly charms I found online. This card just makes my heart happy!! That’s the test of a perfect card, in my book . . . you can just imagine a dear friend receiving this card . . . and you’ve made their soul sing!!

And, finally, gotta have a purple card for all my purple loving friends! This card uses Anna Griffin’s “Wildflower” dies and embossing folder. Peeking through the “window” on the front of the card is the beautiful all-over butterflies paper from “Flight of Fancy”. Big and little butterflies, a variety of shades of color, beautiful lavender matte foil accents, and soft peach silk ribbon create a lovely tableau for this card.
