Ahhh . . . . while we loved getting all that rain this winter, and hoping not to hear the word “drought” for at least a couple years, it is SO nice to see the sun and not have to grab a jacket and umbrella when we leave the house!
Of course, this means I’m crafting even MORE flowers, as they start to bloom all over outside! I told a friend just the other day that I think I’d be perfectly happy to craft nothing BUT flowers, full time!! Crafting companies seem to constantly come up with more and more flower options, for stamps, dies, stencils, etc. I love it!
Today I thought I’d show you a few pretty flowers I’ve been working on . . . Enjoy!!
These are Anna Griffin’s new spring tulips. Aren’t they gorgeous!!?? I used them with some of her botanical cardstock, gold matte foil cardstock, and then added my “signature” silk ribbon!
We’ll be making this lovely folded “screen” card next Tuesday evening, at a workshop I’m doing. This, too, is an Anna Griffin die set, using her floral cardstock and pink matte foil cardstock. I love this unique design . . . perfect for displaying, if you’d like!
This is the front of a lovely folio card we’ll also be making Tuesday evening. This gorgeous paper is from “Lemoncraft” and it is really fun to work with. Along with all my spring flowers, I always like to include either butterflies or hummingbirds . .. sometimes both! This metal butterfly embellishment is just perfect for the belly band around the front of this folio!
Last but not least, this is one of the lovely lavendar cards we made in my group last month. I still have quite a bit of this designer paper from Stampin’ Up left, and will be getting back to it shortly . . . .reminds me of my pretty lilacs now starting to bloom in my yard. I’ll take a picture of them to show you next time . . . reminds me of home, childhood, and the MOST amazing scents!! Happy Crafting!
Janice
All those cards are beautiful! Hopefully I’ll get to come to a class in the future!
