Unique New Easel Cards

I’ve been making more easel cards, with some fairly new Anna Griffin dies, and they are just SO lovely! These are really easy to make, with the actual die cutting the whole card base at one time. You can then decorate to your heart’s content to make your cards gorgeous!

These two easel cards are 2 more of the 5 cards we’ll be making at my workshop on August 19 in Grass Valley. Hope to see some of you “locals” there to create with us.

This oval easel card can be used for so many occasions! Birthday, anniversary, thinking of you . .. .whatever you need a really beautiful card for! I used Anna Griffin floral double sided cardstock, and one of her rose pink matte foil cardstock layers to enhance the florals. And its always fun to add her floral stickers as toppers on a card full of flowers!
This easel card is designed to hold a photograph. The green frame border here has space between it and the card base, so its easy to slip a photo underneath the border. At my workshop you can choose between a pretty floral or Christmas papers for this card, as many of us like to send a photo card at Christmas.

The workshop will also include making a lovely cake easel card, the baby buggy I posted a couple weeks ago, and an adorable birdhouse easel. You’ll get to choose your color scheme and papers for each of these projects, as I’ll have various cardstocks, foils, and embellishments already precut for you to assemble.

If you have any questions about any of the cards I post, don’t hesitate to ask! I’m always happy to share information and tips to help you create. Happy crafting – and hugs to all! Janice
