By now you all know that I am a big fan of Anna Griffin products . . . especially her unique and intricate dies. Today I’m showing you one of her more recent dies that is just the cutest ever baby buggy!

This is called an “easel card”: it folds as it opens and is then able to be propped open with a “stopper” slightly raised, on the inside of the card. This stopper is also often a spot to write a brief greeting to the recipient of the card.

The possibilities are limitless as far as colors, etc. go. Just pick a pretty double-sided cardstock for your base, and then add layers of a coordinating color!
If you like this idea, you’ll want to join our next workshop on Saturday, August 19th, as we’re going to make five different Anna Griffin easel cards! We’ll make this baby buggy (and you’ll have several paper and color choices!), a beautiful oval shaped floral card, a birdhouse, a gorgeous cake that’s great for birthdays or weddings, and a card that holds a photograph. All supplies are provided, including choices of papers and embellishments. All you have to do is assemble these lovely cards!
This workshop will be on Hughes Road in Grass Valley (let me know if you need directions), from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Kits will be available if you can’t make the class. Seating is limited, so please let me know if you’ll be joining us. Class fee is $35.00. You can mail me a check, or pay me through PayPal. Your payment holds your spot for the class. I’ll be posting samples of the other projects we’ll be doing (besides the baby buggy) in the next couple of weeks.
Hope you have a safe and wonderful July 4th holiday . . . remembering how blessed we are to live in this country we love! Hugs to you all! Janice
