HAPPY NEW YEAR . . . & THANK YOU!

This is the time of year that I make “winter thank you” cards. Can’t let those fun holiday gifts go by without a handmade thank you card!

I was digging around in my massive paper stash this week and ran accross this lovely set of paper from a company called “P13”. The name of the paper line is “The Four Seasons – Winter”. Since I hadn’t crafted for several days, my itchy fingers decided this was just the paper to make some thank you cards from.

So here’s my final product! I added some sparkly white organza ribbon (Stampin’ Up), a sliver of the silver glimmer paper along the fold on the left, and some clear rhinestones to finish off the “bling”.

Aren’t these lovely? I used a white cardstock base, followed by a layer of light blue cardstock, and one of the P13 floral layers on top of the blue. I love the delicate icy blue shades of the flowers.

Next came a die cut circle with my “thank you” greeting in the center, in blue. I layered the circle underneath the silver glimmer paper diecut with foliage, from The Greetery. That’s a new die I treated myself to this year, when I wanted something different to use to make some gift tags to sell. It is not only unique, I think it’s gorgeous . . . and has soooo many possibilites. It’s called “Round About Winter Foliage Die”. The Greetery is one of my most favorite companies. I hope you all had a safe and fun New Year’s Eve (we’re having a regular monsoon here, so doubt many people ventured out!). I also hope that the new year brings you happiness, fulfillment, and all good things. I’m looking forward to another year of crafting kits and classes, which is my “happy place”, as well as using my hobby to bless others.
