Time for Tags

I’ve been working on such a FUN project the last few days! Pretty much finished with Christmas cards, as it’s time for everyone to start actually using their cards! (That’s a reminder to myself, too!!) But that’s one of the things I love about paper crafting . . . there’s always something new to experiment with and you never run out of fun!

Aren’t these tags beautiful? These are all from The Greetery (www.thegreetery.com) one of my favorite companies. This release is called “All Wrapped Up” and there are some gorgeous and really unique products for wrapping all your holiday goodies. Several different tags, focusing on the base tag which you see here in red. Then there are all kinds of foliage to add to that base tag, as well as greetings. I added a vanilla base tag on the back of these, and then stamped “To” and “From” on that piece. Another tag has the words “to” and “from” built right into the diecut that’s this same round shape. They even created dies to cut on continuous strips of paper, so you can make your own paper “ribbon” to wrap around packages.

If you aren’t familiar with The Greetery, check it out. Their artists are the best . . . and the continually come up with creative and innovative new paper crafting products!

These cards are really eclectic. The dies are from The Greetery; one ribbon is red silk from May Arts Ribbon; cardstock and that poinsettia round of patterned paper from Stampin’ Up’; gold matte foil cardstock from Anna Griffin; and a couple of the greetings stamped from Stampin’ Up. I love having such a variety of products to choose from when I’m creating. It’s satisfying to be able to find just that right and perfect product to use in a project, when you need it!

I’m off to the Vintage Marketplace at Prospector’s Nursery in Nevada City, CA this morning. This is our last weekend selling at this market. I’m a bit leery, as it’s cold and it’s been raining, so I’m hoping the big space heater in the barn works well today and tomorrow! Next weekend, we’ll have a rack of Christmas cards at Gypsy Chic in Lincoln, CA. That’s a really fun market too, so if you’re looking for some holiday inspiration, come to that pop up market . . . you won’t be sorry!

Have a great weekend . . . I’ll be trying to start cleaning up my Christmas creating mess in my craft room! Remember . . . do something creative every day! Hugs! Janice
